Privacy
Policy.
Last updated: June 10, 2026. We take data privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a hashed password, and your subscription tier. We do not collect payment card details directly — those are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) under their own PCI-DSS compliance framework.
When you use the platform, we log which signals you viewed, which tickers are on your watchlist, and standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requests). We use this data to improve signal relevance and detect abuse.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect brokerage account information or portfolio holdings.
- We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
- We do not use your data to train models that are sold or licensed externally.
- We do not serve advertising based on your usage patterns.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate and improve the Finsight Core platform. This includes personalizing your signal feed, sending account notifications and product updates (which you can opt out of), and diagnosing technical issues.
Data retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at privacy@finsightcore.com. Audit log data (resolved signals and outcomes) is retained for 24 months as part of our public accuracy record methodology.
Your rights
- Right to access: request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
- Right to portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object: opt out of non-essential data processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@finsightcore.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your login state, and optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage patterns. You may decline analytics cookies without affecting platform functionality.
